How-to: Change APN settings on Android

When inserting your Amandla Mobile SIM in your mobile device, the Access Point Name (APN) is now configured automatically. However, if you encounter delays,connectivity or internet issues, follow these steps to troubleshoot:

1. 1. Toggle Airplane Mode:

   • Turn on Airplane Mode for 5 minutes, then turn it off to reset wireless connections.

2. 2. Restart Your Device:

   • Power off your device, then turn it back on to refresh settings.

3. 3. Manual APN Configuration:

   1. If issues persist, manually set the APN in your device's network settings following these steps:

   • Navigate to Mobile Networks: Scroll down and tap on "Connections", then tap on "Mobile networks".
   • Open Access Point Names: Select "Access Point Names".
   • APN List: Select 'myMTN' APN
   • Restart Device: Restart your phone to apply the updated APN settings.
